Your Account > Bill Assistance > Cooling Assistance Residential Cooling Assistance This program is designed to help low-income families afford the costs of cooling. The Cooling Assistance Program provides income-eligible households with a utility bill credit after a period where extreme temperatures were experienced (i.e., temperatures exceeding 95F for a period of at least three consecutive days). Customers who own an air conditioner, and received energy assistance in the previous heating season will be eligible for cooling assistance.
