Bill Payment Options

New Glarus Light & Water accepts utility payments in the form of cash, check or certified funds.  Please make checks or certified funds payable to New Glarus Utilities.

Customers can pay their utility bill by the following options:

Mail:

In Person:

The utility office is located in Village Hall

319 2nd Street

New Glarus, WI

Hours:  M-F 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Drop Box:

A 24-hour drop box is located outside the front doors of Village Hall at 319 2nd Street.  Another drop box is located outside the utility office located in Village Hall.

 

Auto Pay (ACH):

Customers can have their bills automatically deducted from their checking or savings account each month.

On-Line Bill Pay:

 Customers can view and pay their utility bills through our on-line bill pay system.  Click Here.

 

At the present time we do not accept debit/credit card payments.

Utility bills are due at the utility office by the 20th of each month, unless the 20th falls on a weekend, or a celebrated holiday, then the utility bills are due the next business day after the 20th.  A 3% penalty (minimum $0.50) is charged to late bills.

A $30.00 charge will be applied to a customer’s account when a check is returned to the utility for non-sufficient funds (NSF).
