July 17, 2026

1901 will be working between 2nd Street and 5th Street next week. They should finish the water and sewer main line work but will still have service and lateral work in the next couple of weeks. They will also be working on storm sewer work from Railroad to 1st Street. WE Energies started gas main and service work last week and will likely continue for the next couple of weeks.

July 10, 2026

Next week, 1901 will be working on sanitary and water work between 4th and 5th Streets. They will continue working on storm sewer south of the Railroad intersection and could potentially move into 11th Avenue towards 1st Street. Things have gotten pretty congested this week with storm sewer piping from Railroad to 2nd Street but should get better as they continue the project.

July 2, 2026

1901 will be conducting water and sanitary sewer work from 3rd Street to 5th Street.  There is a possibility they will begin storm sewer work at the Railroad Street intersection and to the south in the utility easement.  

June 26, 2026

Next week 1901 will be doing sanitary and water work between 2nd Street and 4th Street.

June 19, 2026

The week of June 22 - 26, 1901 will be working between 1st Street and 4th Street on water and sanitary mains as well as the water and sewer laterals and services.  A reminder to residents that when they are being hooked up to the new water main, there will be a 1 - 2 hour window where the property will not have water.  A representative from the 1901 contractor will try to contact property owners/residents prior to doing this work.  The representative will most likely knock on the door when trying to make contact.  

June 12, 2026

Next week they will be doing water and sewer from 1st Street to 3rd Street.

June 5, 2026

1901 will be doing watermain and service work next week from Railroad Street up to 3rd Street. They will also be working on sanitary lateral work from Railroad to 2nd Street.

May 29, 2026

Next week, 1901 will be working on watermain from Railroad to 1st Street, and possibly up to 3rd Street. They may also be doing sanitary work in this area.

May 27, 2026

1901 will be working on sanitary sewer work Friday between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Next week they should be back to working between Railroad and 2nd Streets on watermain.

May 22, 2026

1901 will be finishing watermain work at Railroad Street and 11th Ave the first part of next week.  After they have done that, they will finish with the sewer laterals between Railroad and 2nd Street.  

May 15, 2026

1901 will be working on tying in sewer laterals between Railroad St and 2nd St. They will be going back to Railroad St early in the week to do watermain work at that intersection. People in this area should be notified at least 24 hours in advance of any water service interruptions. There is a possibility of watermain work from the intersection of Railroad St to 2nd St. 

Just a reminder that residents should continue to put out garbage and mail as usual. 1901 will move things accordingly so garbage can be picked up and mail can be delivered.

May 8, 2026

Contractor update from the site foreman:

* Tree contractor should be onsite next week.

* They are working on the sewer main between Railroad St and 1st Street. They should reach 1st Street midweek and will continue on sewer the remainder of the week between 1st Street and 2nd Street.

• Sanitary will be installed first
• Followed by water

1st to 2nd street 5/11- 7/31 (utilities)

• Sanitary will be installed first
• Followed by water
• Storm last after all sanitary and water complete railroad – 5th street

2nd – 3rd street 5/25- 7/31 (utilities)

• Sanitary will be installed first
• Followed by water
• Storm last after all sanitary and water complete railroad – 5th street

3rd to 4th street 6/1- 7/31 (utilities)

• Sanitary will be installed first
• Followed by water
• Storm last after all sanitary and water complete railroad – 5th street

4th to 5th street 6/8- 7/31 (utilities)

• Sanitary will be installed first
• Followed by water
• Storm last after all sanitary and water complete railroad – 5th street

April 20, 2026

• Construction officially starts Monday, May 4, 2026.
• The contractor will begin bringing in equipment/signage on Monday, April 27, 2026.
• They will begin with sewer work at the 11th Ave/Railroad St intersection and work their way down.
